Unknown Places
The empire sent out an announcement today. The land has shifted once again— this time close to the empire's seat. Closer than a shift like this has occurred in many years. Towns, roads, landmarks near the capital. All gone overnight.
Not gone, exactly. Taken somewhere else with the movement of the land. And in its place, other towns, other cities. Brought from somewhere near or far.
As a cartographer for the empire, you have been charged with recharting the changing lands. To master earth and put it to paper— here, it is a rare gift. And a dangerous one. There's no way to know what has been brought to here. It could be untold danger. Riches beyond imagining. Or nothing of interest of all.
As cartographer, you explore a random map with events, each arranged differently each time. Your goal is to explore as much of the map as possible with your limited resources.
To play, move the map with the arrow keys. Click on locations and options with the mouse.
As this is a prototype you'll see all possible events on each play through, but you may find different outcomes based on actions at different locations. Try a few times and see what you find out!
I created all assets you see in game except for sound and music. Full credits are in game. If playing in browser, I recommend playing fullscreen- it makes the text less blurry. Thank you for playing.

I would actually die for the creature
creature would want you to live <3
I like the presentation, the art is great (especially the berry bush, I also liked the merchant) and the UI is simple but fits it really well!
It would be nice if the camera automatically jumped to the node you are currently at
Thank you! Do you mean like automatically centering over it? That’s a good suggestion.
yeah exactly
